*** F.y.i.: Due to the current circumstances this course is not going to take place on April 20. Once a new date has been found we will announce it here. ***

MPI-EVA, Deutscher Platz 6, 4th Floor Seminar Room, H4.10
April 20, 9 AM to 4.30 PM

This one-day workshop will provide an introduction to using RMarkdown to write reproducible reports and manuscripts. We will cover a basic introduction to RMarkdown and then focus specifically on writing journal articles and result reports in RMarkdown. The introductory topics will include setting up documents; embedding code, figures, and tables; formatting text and using different export formats. In the second half of the course we will then cover automated result reports, workflows for writing journal articles, more advanced formatting and integrating tracked changes.

The workshop is aimed at researchers at any level with previous experience using R. Knowledge of RMarkdown is not required. This is a hands on course and participants must bring a laptop. More information on software and other prerequisites as well as the schedule etc can be found on the course page: https://scpederzani.github.io/2020-MPI-RMarkdown-course-page/

For participating regularly and doing all homework sets, PhD students can get 1 ECTS.
